A pop-up design gallery (unit) organized and managed by Masaki Tamura (Chairman of Sempre Design) and Joe Suzuki (journalist and design producer). Focusing on "contemporary design," a genre still new in Japan that sits between functional furniture and art, some pundits have described the first exhibition, "Contemporary Design: Present, Past, and Future," held in the fall of 2018, as "an event that changed the history of design in Japan. Since then, the exhibition has continued to have a significant impact on the Japanese design world. The museum aims to hold two exhibitions a year, and does not have a permanent exhibition space.
